It’s initial objective was straightforward - to act as a counter-balance to the anti-London bias which was so distressingly prevalent in the national UK media at that time. But on moving to Resonance 104.4 FM in 2004, a more ambitious series of goals began to take shape. Might it be possible to combine Studs Terkel’s unimpeachable musical taste, Howard Stern’s instinctive grasp of oral history, Desert Island Discs' in-depth psychological profiles and the technical infallibility of John Peel? Only you, the listener, can judge the extent to which this dream has been realised.
